FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve gathered answers to the most common questions about the wedding weekend.

What is the dress code?

For the Welcome Dinner on Friday, we kindly request Summer Cocktail Attire. For the Saturday wedding, smart formal or black tie optional. Think flowing gowns, tailored suits, and a touch of Italian elegance. Please avoid wearing white or ivory.

How do I get to Villa Giona?

The villa is in the Tuscan countryside. We recommend renting a car. We will also arrange shuttle transfers from central Florence. Please see our Travel & Stay page for full directions.

Is transportation provided between events?

Yes! We will arrange shuttle buses between the recommended hotels in Florence and Villa Giona for the Saturday ceremony and Sunday brunch.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones dearly! However, our wedding is intended as an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony itself so that everyone can be fully present.

What should I do about dietary restrictions?

Please indicate any dietary requirements or allergies in your RSVP form. Our caterers are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs with advance notice.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 1st, 2027. Please RSVP here.
